Old school hip hop breaks?

Im lookin for some break tracks like you hear in songs by Sublime (scarlett begonias is a good example) and some Incubus songs. Nothin but some drums and a simple b riff, or no b at all. I DJ, not very often, but I play new prog house, deep house, stuff like that. I have some friends that play guitar and drums and what not, they arent really a band but they jam fairly often. They always ask me to bring my equipment over and play with them, to add in some beats and a little bit of scratching, effects and whatever. They play rock, nothin heavy, nothin real mellow but Anyone know where I can even begin to look? I live in a city but record stores arent that great around here and I use cd players anyway. Any artists, or DJ Tool cds suggestions? I can loop with my players so even some old funky hip hop artists could help.
