Why do I get cold sore-looking things when I eat pineapple?

Most likely you are allergic to food with high acid. Like when I eat gfruit, orange or lemon I tend to breakout and my face ends up looking like a basketball for a day so its probably you being allergic to that, but if you are highly worried go to your doctor and let him know.
