Should I defend myself in court? NJ?

I received a ticked for not yielding pedestrians on a crosswalk. It was a rainy day and people were on the other side of the road. Everyone went their own way without slowing down, no problems but I got ticketed anyway. I always yield others when I drive to be on the safe side, this time there was no need. Should I challenge this ticket on court, what do you think?
