Should they only teach abstinence only programs in schools and do you feel they are effective?

The Government funds alot of taxpayers $ on abstinance-only program and they leave out important information such as AIDS and std's. In fact, Bush has tripled the their funding and left comprehenseive education very little funding and support. This leaves most public schools who have an increase in teenage pregnancy only teach them the abstinence program b/c this is the only thing Bush funds for and this program has shown that is very ineffective and isn't teaching safe practices, nor preventing teenage pregnancy. The rise of STD'S AND AIDS among young people is a serious problem and there has got to be something they are not teaching properly in school and among parents aswell. Comprehensive programs talk about the importance of protecting yourself and and also the important personal choice of abstinance.
